silver signature pieces

I started out scratching my signature into the wet paint once a painting was finished however I was far from happy with how this looked and in 2005 started signing with a Silver (and a some Black) ‘Painty’ pens onto the dry paint.  I found this to be more versatile and the clean finish I was looking for.  As I got better at my craft I wanted to distinguish between paintings that were taking more effort thought and time and toward the later end of 2007 I introduced the Gold Signature. 

Prior to the later end of 2007 I painted several paintings that I know are worthy of a Gold Signature.  If you think you own one of these pieces please feel free to contact me so I can resign your painting in Gold.  Send me a picture of your painting and I will let you know if it qualifies.

Gold Signature paintings are generally larger pieces. They speak true quality and refinement to those that view them.  They take a great deal more time and the creation of the work can often go on for days and even weeks before I am happy with the final piece.

Most of the ideas for my Gold Signature pieces come to me in the middle of the night and I often find myself in my studio with a sketch pad in the wee small hours sketching ideas before I forget them.  Gold Signature paintings are rare and will appreciate in value over time and as my profile increases internationally.

Platinum Signature paintings are quite simply class.  This is the painting I want to paint for myself with no time restrictions, constraints or pressures from the world hence they are a rare collector’s piece.  Platinum signature paintings can take months to finish and are a very rare item. 

To date I have only painted and signed 2 Platinum Signature Paintings

All Platinum Signature Paintings are numbered on the back and come with a numbered and signed Certificate of Authenticity.

Metallic Brown Signature paintings are limited edition hand painted reproductions.  To preserve the integrity and value of the original artwork, the reproduction paintings are signed in Metallic Brown.  This will insure the original Gold and Silver signature paintings will be easily distinguished from the reproductions.
