about the artist steven sotogi

New Zealand born and raised on Auckland’s North Shore, Steven has spent his life growing up surrounded by the beauty Aotearoa, New Zealand has to offer.

His appreciation for these surroundings has allowed him a visual awareness present in his artwork and also inspired through opportunities to visit much of the world including the Pacific Islands, Australia, and America and throughout Asia.

Many of Steven’s pieces are exceptional although Steven will often say he is good at many things but brilliant at few. This is a reflection in his ability to produce a variety of styles and techniques and also his ability to balance his time with two of his other passions, music and sport.

Steven continues to grow in experience and ability, meeting many along his life journey who have appreciated his talent and expressed this through purchasing artwork in great numbers selling to both private collectors and the corporate sector. This is testament to Steven’s talent to produce inspiring artwork and the ability to interpret and communicate at all levels.
